Chassis Dyno Restoration
Using the latest model of chassis dynos, we are able to tune, test, and troubleshoot any type of classic vehicle. We recommend running your classic vehicle on the road load simulation feature of the chassis dynamometer before you navigate traffic on the street. The chassis dynamometer is designed to calculate the forces that affect a vehicle when driven on actual roads. It will measure the simulation through the tires in the test results. The chassis dyno will make the same accelerations and decelerations as if on a real road and measure the performance.
With the chassis dynamometer, our technicians can fix the parameters of the testing based on real roads and conditions. Wind resistance can affect the braking force of the wheels and can be part of the parameters, as well as traveling in the hills or on curving back roads. Air fuel ratios, fuel injection adjustments, and carburetor jetting are all tested with this process.
